Haha - must listen to Johnny B - he always plays that quote from Mr. Moviefone.

My workday sucked yesterday - got paged the night before just as I was falling asleep and then couldn't get back to sleep afterwards. On less than 4 hrs of sleep yesterday I'm surprised I made it home w/o passing out behind the wheel.

Got a call at 3:30? ouch - if I'm not on-call my phone is OFF.

It does a very good job of initially pulling you down to sleep... but it does not keep you asleep. I find a couple of benedrylls work great for that... as does Nyquil and even the (not recommended) 1/2 dose benedryll and 1/2 dose Nyquil... Just make sure you have 8-10 hours set aside for that one

LOL. Dude. U do realize who u r talking to correct?!?!

I don't try to use booze as a substitute for anything. I should be able to get sleep on my own without overdoing it. I save drinking for fun times

coming from someone that has a the worst sleeping pattern.

you need sleep.

sleeping pills don't really work. I've tried them. Yes, you do sleep. Once you wake up, your still tired. Because your brain knows you always sleep at this time everyday. So when you reach that time, your body starts crashing on you.

If your on call 24-7, your never going to fix yourself. You need a min of a month (in my opinion) of a set sleeping schedule. Either tell your work you can't be their 247 guy or stop rubbing it out at 3am and browsing clsb.

Most sleep related problems are from stress. Figure out ways to relieve your stress and you will sleep better. Start working out, go for walks, smoke weed, whatever it is that helps you de-stress.

Sometimes your knight in shining armor is just a retard wrapped in tin foil.

What's your caffeine intake like? Do you drink a lot of energy drinks? I know that was my problem a while back when I was having trouble falling asleep. My body was plenty tired but I just couldn't relax enough to nod off.

I found that limiting myself to one or two energy drinks(sometimes none at all if I could handle it) a week helped big time. Even if I had an energy drink(monster) early in the afternoon, I would still find myself having trouble falling asleep later that night, sometimes not falling asleep until 2-3 in the morning.

That's what helped me get a better nights sleep. Otherwise, I think your best bet is going with bio-nukes advice.

Well it's not stress related. Nothing has changed in my life recently and it's just the usual bullshit called mikes life that's going on.

I know I need a new mattress and have been shopping around for one.

I drink coffee during the day. But at night I'm tossing down milk and chillin on the couch.

Just had some loser tryin to fuck with me while I'm driving the company van. Dude was totally in the wrong and he actually got up at a light with me and got out of his car. I of course got outta my truck, turned my hat backwards, and told him to get back in his car now or else he was going to the hospital. He starts cussing at me asking me what MY?!?! Problem was and I was like listen asshole, u were the one driving like he fucking dick, so I suggest you get back the fuck in your car before you get fucked up and do it now. So be acts like he takes my plates down and flys away. Dickhead was driving an older grand-am that's all white. I got his plates. If this guy wants issues I can give them, but he musts thought he as going to be the big dog until he actually seen me in person and thought twice about messing with me. And I'm laughing about this right now. LOL.

God what a douchebag he was. I'm driving almost a 10,000 lbs vehicle and this retard is trying to cut ME off not realizing that this truck would destroy that that thing he calls a car. Then he gets all up in my face cause he's driving like a dick.

...plus my gf was with me saying "omg slow down, slow down" and I was thinking "Lose annoying squalk box in passenger seat, afford more mods and have less weight in the car and on the back of the bike"...so i dumped her and I'm single again as usual...HERE KITTY KITTY!!!

It's still funny u guys think u have me "tagged" and u don't. I'm very passive. Trust me when I tell you guys u didn't want to know me even 10 years ago cause I had a very different attitude. These days I just let shit go, and don't bother gettin pissed off about things. It's not worth it. Ask anyone that really knows me and they will tell u that I am very easy going and brush alot of shit off, but if it ever comes down to it, well let's just say " Hulk smash". LOL. But I have expanded from what I used to do and deal with. I don't let drama and b.s. bother me much these days cause it's just not worth it to me
