there will be more cuts in the state because of this. I know of a few design houses and manufacturing plants in il that rely on cat for business. Sad to hear. Hopefully the economy recovers sooner rather than later.

I work for CAT too, and so far it looks like I'll be safe. Nothing at this point is guaranteed though. And Ian's numbers are pretty accurate. So far, it looks like the Aurora plant will be hit a bit worse than Joliet, but that could change as things move along.
