So... My Corporate Amex got jacked...

...on my trip to NJ/NY.

Got a call from an e-company asking me to please verify my information and complete the order processing so they can ship my new HP $3800 computer to me. .... umm, what?

I told them to cancel the order - called Amex - Amex told me they declined a purchase request from an Apple store in NY for $4800. and a few other large dollar items attempted in NY. Closed the card, new one coming in the morning.

So, it was either my limo driver, the thai delivery guy, the hotel staff, or The View restaurant staff in Times Square that made the misconception that I had a big enough expense card that would absorb that kind of purchase without notice. ha! yea, right!

OR - Maybe the zombies came into my hotel room in the middle of the night and wrote down my card number.

I recall waking up with an empty box of sweettarts in one hand and cheddar cheese chips all over my shirt... and the blankets were all over the dang place. They've got some GREAT martinis in NY.
