Taken

This movie was pretty darn good! If you like action films you'll like this. It's kind of Bourne like, not quite as good but good none the less. If you're a parent it will get your blood boiling. I wasn't sure I'd believe Liam Neeson in an action roll but he pulled it off.

I'm surprised it took so long for it to hit the US market... It was out as early as last june or july in other areas.

Anyways.. Good flick, relatively simple plot. Wouldn't surprise me if there's a sequel in the works.

Some memorable quotes:

Bryan: I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.

Marko: [after a long pause] Good luck.

--------------------
Bryan: Now's not the time for dick measuring, Stuart!

It's worth watching, better than some of the other crap I've watched lately.

I watched Babylon AD last week and I wanted to gouge my eyes out.

Well he probably wasnt taking down an albanian crime syndicate singlehandedly, scaling buildings, running for blocks, jumping off bridges, and the like in the 1700s. And he's 13 years older now than he was then.

Makes you wonder if something like this happened to Natalee Holloway.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

What! Edited for the US audience?

Wait, did you rent it at Blockbuster? They are known for getting tamed down edits of movies.

I forgot about this one and never got around to seeing it. Maybe I'll rent the Blu-Ray tonight.
