In preperation for the motorcycle show

I started teaching my daughter how to ride.. Wanted to at least get her accustomed to the different kinds of motorcycles that were out there (I fully intend taking as many pictures as possible with her on as many bikes as possible )

So with that in mind... I had my buddy Chuck take a few pictures of our first lesson...

First the Cruiser with Ape Hangers

She might want to try out a more comfortable cruiser bike.. Such as a Harley

SV650 or something standard.. Perhaps the Ducati Monster

Sportbike

Finally, I'd like her to at least learn to ride a dirtbike properly.. Something I never did...

I think we are almost ready for the show now

My baby cousin likes licking the gas tank on my bike.

not even thinking what that is doing to your cousin. Have you considered what saliva does to your paint?

eww but she is all [email protected]

but seriously.. we really tried to keep the speeds down.. we were really just concentrating on form.. You know how you do those drills your first track day? It was more like that...

Perhaps tonight we will move onto getting her butt around on the seat.. proper elbow placement.. and maybe we'll see a knee down.. Really I am not expecting that much this soon.. I didn't get my first knee down till my second track day.

We can hope, but I am more concerned with her working on the basics, having good form, and being smooth.. Speed and skitch skitch skitch will come naturally with time and practice

Your daughter is adorable. I'd keep an eye on her if I were you. Here's what your half White, half Chinese girl might look like in twenty or so years. Ladies and germs I present to you G4 TVs Olivia Munn :

My boy is just a few months older than your girl. We'll be checking back on her in about 18 years.

He tries to lick the tank, but I always pull him away before he is actually able to lick the tank.

Her instructor never really rode a dirtbike either..
So.. Spies style then?

Did you notice her Ducati jumper?

Her Mom actually bought it for her because of that...

Everything in our house has little felt pads on the bottom of it.. Nobody dare walk in with shoes on.. and you should have saw her when she realized I double sided taped the roomba base down in a corner...

Hella cute kid. And im not just saying that. Start them out right. My parents tossed me into motorized vechiles when i was young. 4 years old with a racing goKart. Wasn't allowed 2 wheel items till i moved out of the house. So i moved out as soon as highschool was done.

My girlfriends 2 year old loves my bikes. Like knows he can't go outside alone but knows the sound of my truck and my bikes vs everyone elses who rides down the street. For christmas i was told i couldn't get him a dirtbike with trainning wheels. So i got him the next best thing. Powerwheels Escalade with real stereo. Installed strobes in the headlights, and 2 aftermarket car horns wired in with a lockout switch under the hood. She told me i was retarded and that he would be afraid of the horns. He figured out how to work it all on his own. He waits for people to walk up to him and bend down to look at him or what not then he blasts them with the horn. God this kids going to be a handfull when he gets older.

The kid even refuses to let me drive my boat anymore without him sitting on my lap.

Photobucket

The reaction he gives when his mom tells him he can't drive is great. He grabs the keys and pouts.

He runs to put on my helmet and jacket anytime its not stashed away in the closet. Kinda scarry seeing is head is so small and the helmet is so heavy, and for some reason he always grabs the ducati jacket when climbing onto either one of my zx6r's and the icon when getting on the duc.

Sorry for thread jacking, We should start a image thread of kids and bikes.
