Grammy's who's playing guitar?

Watching the Grammy's. Who the heck is playing guitar for Carrie Underwood. She's got some monster chops. She's over playing or wanking it a bit, but still not bad......

Show me a video of it, and I bet I could tell you, Greg.

Ahh Lonely Raven. The only person to post in my thread. Also the first person to give me the opportunity to play my first guitar.

You know, all these years, many guitars and amps later. I'm only a marginally better guitarist now haha...

Though the last Grammy's set was cool! A bunch of great guitarists. John Mayer, B.B. King, Buddy Guy and Keith Urban.

Can't find my Buddy Guy and B.B. King photos! Oh no! I'll find my old CD's.

I guess I'm not the only curious one.

Just checked out her myspace page. Kind of reminds me of Shannon Curfman. Had a great time hanging out with Shannon back stage a few years ago. (damn I'm getting old) AJ Crowley was there with me. We we're there way to late!

I checked out some MP3's on Orianthi's sites. She's got some solid skills. I'm hooked. She can hang it out instrumental style with Steve Vai, like she did on the Grammy's. She's also got some solid soul to her playing in a few slower songs on her site.

Damn! Anyone want to give me guitar lessons? I've been procrastinating to darn long on this hobby. It's kind of ironic, I started doing ear training about 2 weeks ago too.

I actually didn't care much for John Mayer when I first heard him. Turns out he's got some bad ass guitar in him too! Solid skills, tons of heart in his playing too. I didn't listen to him much till I saw him on Austin City Limits. He's da man.

Yeah, I'm not much better of a player either...that's why I started dabbling in building amps...which I suck at as well because I'm not formally trained, but I can build kits like a pro! LOL

You should come over to my pad sometime...I have a bunch of neat gear that I'd love to have some guitar gear heads bang on and enjoy...a bunch of it might be sold soon the way things are going.

Orianthi, sounds a bit Satch like to me. I'll have to research and see who she trained with.
