Jeremy crashed hard in Costa Rica last night Feb 7th. He under rotated a flip and came down horrifically hard very similar to his crash at X-games in 2007. However this time he did not walk away, as a matter of fact he did not even move a muscle at all. Please keep him and his family in your prayers. We will try and keep you updated here. His family as well as Brian Deegan, and Cameron Steele are all en route to Costa Rica right now. **Update what we have heard so far as of 8am PST 2/8/09: -He made it through the surgery which was great because they only gave a 5% chance of that. -They had to drain a hematoma from the skull. -He has an enlarged brain so they could not close his skull back up, they have to wait for swelling to go down. -The next 24 hours is critical, so please keep praying! He did get a fever but they are controlling that. -It has been about 7 hours since the surgery Some family is there already whole others are trying to get emergency passports. Please pray for favor in that situation as well. -They are not even attempting to work on anything else right now, the most important is to get him stabilized. PRAY FOR JEREMY!
Doesn't sound good at all.

Its crazy but he did not break one bone. But before they started the first surgery he had less that 5% chance on living.

Wow...that's a lights out crash if I've ever seen one. The fact that he's still alive now is shocking. And if his spine hasn't been crushed in that fold over, and he survives them leaving his skull open for a while (huge chance of infection and he's already got a fever)...

Life's Journey Is Not To Arrive At The Grave Safely In A Well Preserved Body, But Rather To Skid In Sideways, Totally Worn Out, Shouting "HOLY SHIT... What A Ride!"

All you have to do is follow three simple rules. One, never under estimate your opponent (mentality). Expect the unexpected (could work out in your favor). Two, take it outside(or to a table). Never start anything inside the Bar unless it's absolutely necessary. And three, be nice.
