So who's going? Let's go. Tickets are like 14 bucks. We'll knock down a 12 pack before we go in. I'll have a 1/5 of jim beam.

Doors open at 6:30pm and since it's on a Friday night most likely people wouldn't be able to pre-party anyways.

I already have my tickets. I went to the Sears Center and bought them at the box office...Excellent seats right at the start finish (or directly across on the backstraight...the ticket seller wasn't sure on which side the line would be) for $20.
These indoors are usually a good show. I've seen both flat track and speedway bikes at different indoors over the years.
Not exactly the Springfield Mile or the Peoria TT...but fun just the same!

Celena (MIA), her friend and I are definitely in. Possibly Shelly and Tre too. We'll probably be partying at my place afterwards so anyone is welcome to join us. I'm about 15-20 mins (or less if you drive like me) from the center.

I had a good time...It wasn't Springfield or Peoria but it helped a winter starved motorcycle racing fanatic get fired for the upcoming season with all the right sights, sounds & smells!...JR is a great rider no matter where he competes, and I'm sure his purse winnings will help make his trip to Daytona a bit better... The 2 stroke quads smelled great! At least the ones who were burning the racing castor...That's what a short track at the old Santa Fe Speedway smelled like! BUT...I think the 3 Go karts were more exciting than the Quads, wish there had been more of them. The motorcycle feature needed to be 10 laps.
The 15 year old young lady was impressive with her determination...she needs to stop riding all groove tracks and get on a cushion and get on the ice outdoors a bit to learn how to steer with the throttle! She'd be much more competitive on an indoor track if she did that. The card girls were a nice touch...better than any I've seen at the boxing matches at St Andrews gym!.........And who'd a thunk you'd get a hockey fight at motorcycle ice race!
I hope they come back next year...the timing will be just right for me to want to go see them again! Definately worth the ticket price.

I musts missed that being at the bar. LOL. But it was a good time.

...plus my gf was with me saying "omg slow down, slow down" and I was thinking "Lose annoying squalk box in passenger seat, afford more mods and have less weight in the car and on the back of the bike"...so i dumped her and I'm single again as usual...HERE KITTY KITTY!!!
