Orion car speakers?

My lil brother is gettin a set of these for his car and i have never heard of them. I did a quick interweb search and it seems that nobody is allowed to sell them online. It kinda reminds me of arai helmets. Does anyone know about these speakers?

omfg... I havent heard that name in years. Orion was the shit back in the day. I dont think they even make them anymore.

I would tell your bro to go with something new. I personally like the Infinity Kappa's. But of course they are expensive (and WELL worth it IMHO). I have a set of Infinity Reference and they sound great, running straight off the head unit (Sony Xplod). You can usually find some good deals online as well as local car audio shops. Around here they have buy 1 get 1 free all the time on speakers (mostly subs).

Yeah, Orions used to be real good quality speakers, but the company ran out of business, and I think that's why you can't get them online anymore. I wouldn't suggest he gets them b/c there's going to be virtually no support for them. What's the price range your bros looking at?

I got a set of Orion XTS 8" speakers that I love. They used to be the shit. Very good speakers, but Orion is dead. If hes getting a good deal on them, and knows that they work then I'd go with them. They are not cheapo ripoff speakers.
