Leather repair in Chicago area

Hey guys,

I just got off the phone with Jim Marcum and he is definitely still in business.

Seems he lost his cell phone around Christmas and any messages that have been left on his cell phone, he is not getting.

Here is his contact info:

Jim's Leathers
2s211 Sanchez Dr
Warrenville, IL 60555
630.836.0168
[email protected]

I know many of you are like me and need work done on your racing leathers / leather jackets, just wanted to give you a heads up. Jim has done work for many CLSB members and comes highly recommended.

As always, please tell him you are a CLSB member and Ron Hix sent you! Thanks!

Yeah, I agree. Nothing at all wrong with Alexa, she does good work. But having someone here in the Chicago area that also does good work is really nice. Saves time and money in shipping costs, etc.

Agreed. I'm not sure what the deal is with him, but he has not returned my call several times as well.

My leathers are at Alexa's right now... http://www.spyderleatherworks.com/ Need I say more?

Thats so irritating. If I had a niche of something I was good at. I'd hope people would call for my services. Especially in times like this. I had to play to phone tag the end of last season to get my leathers in to him. I never was able to get them over there when he was available.

I had the same problem two weeks ago. Tried contacting Jim first before Alexa because I was on a time crunch and was hoping to take care of it locally. I tried reaching him through email and a couple phone calls but never heard anything back.

So I gave Alexa a call and what do you know, she answered right away. Told her what I needed done and when I needed them back by and she said no problem! Even with being out of the shop one day and then UPS hiding her packages , she still managed to get them back to me with plenty of time to spare. Alexa ROCKS!!!
