Paid Off!!

I'm soo excited, I paid off my Jeep this week. I think this is the first time I've actually owned a car or truck outright since high school.

Must be nice . I've only had a couple of few cars and a couple of motorcycles paid off. The first car cost me $500, the second one - $1000 . But I'm on the fast track paying off my current car and both bikes. Finally came to the conclusion that it doesn't make sense to waste money on interest... Unless you need a car/motorcycle right now and can't wait.

Its a great feeling isn't it?

I paid off my truck a few months ago. It was my first new car I ever bought. 4 years of payments complete.

Getting the title in mail made me smile.

It is a great feeling. But, as vehicles get older they need more repairs. So, I add up any repairs needed over the year and divide by 12. That's your monthly payment. If that still comes out under $50-$100 per month average, you smile even more.

If you ain't with us, then it's just bad news.

Just paid off the wife's Lex and got the title last week too. She was already eyeing up new SUVs and I put the kabosh on that right away. Once that truck has over 200K on it I MIGHT think about a new one. Time to ride out the storm in this one for now. Congrats Tony!! It is a good feeling to have a little more breathing room.

Good feeling aint it?

My last car payment was in 2001 and it felt so good to get rid of it I promised myself I would never have another one and never have. If I dont have the cash for it I dont buy it (car or bike). But I only drive low $$ vehicles. I only buy cars for a good enough deal to where I can drive it for 2 years and break even or even make a little money. Im not driving anything new but its been working. Im a baller on a budget that usually drives a 95 saturn while the nice cars stay in the garage

Dude you have NO idea

I was driving past a dealer today and saw an awesome Tahoe. But I'm not gonna do it. It's nice knowing I don't have a payment anymore. I just threw some extra cash at the Loan on my multistrada also. I have about 1800 to go on that then it's paid off. then I will only have one vehicle with a payment, (my wifes new escape) that ones gonna be a while LOL
