Do you remember the chassis numbers for that '97 gsxr?

Rear ride hight, swingarm angle, amount of fork above the triples.

What I do recall about the SRAD was this.....

It has a pivot location problem that results in a Jack/Squat issue.

Answer IIRC is to run a +2 in front to get the angles right, then
a pie-plate sized rear to "fix" the gearing issue you just created.

Thanks Man...... some yes..... some no.

The BMW was a terrible motorcycle, glad it's gone.

Never got along with the ST1100, it was fine, but lacked personality
and was small and lacking space for two-up duty.

The 98 VFR was a great bike as was the 99 Blackbird....

Sentimental favorites are the 95 Wing and the CBR1000.

If only I had an aircraft hanger.

Awesome motor..... second to none. Would wheelie from first to second
on a brisk shift. The handlebar mounted fairing made the steering heavy
and it steered a bit in cross winds.

My real "issue" with the Valkyrie was the seating position which put most
of your weight on your tailbone with your feet and arms forward.

I rode it home from Ohio on the fourth day of a long trip and after Indianapolis
I rode up I65 standing on the pegs because I couldn't sit any longer. I have
*never* had that issue with any other bike.....

My wife complained ( via intercom ) about having to look at my butt so long

1000+ mile days on the Wing were a walk in the park.
