Wild Turkey Rye (101)...any takers?

First time I have tried Rye, not bad, maybe a bit dry and sharp.

I love my bourbon (Buffalo Trace, Stagg, WT101, Eagle Reserve, Elmer T. Lee....) and think it is a better drink than rye.

Opinions?

Well, Gold Eagel up here in Libertyville buys Buffalo Trace bottled for them from a single barrel. Great stuff, but ruined me for regular Buffalo Trace.

Kind of neat, BT brings up 6 samples and they chose the barrel they want.

They let me taste too, kind of interesting the difference between barrels.

Elmer T. Lee might be the smoothest drink ever. God I love that shit. Basil Hayden is a distant second.

Had lots of Rye up in British Columbia - not my kind of sipping drink.

Call first, they ran out of the last barrel, and expect the new stuff any day.
