I-tunes music?

Does anyone actually buy their music? I only have like 300 song and I am contemplating just buying them. Since I have an iPhone and iPod I figure I will just buy off of itunes.

nothing wrong with that. it lets you be selective and not waste your money on an entire album if you only like a song or two. I haven't purchased much music in the last year or so. I don't steal music either. If you're into music and read any blogs, you'll likely come across plenty of demos and free songs.

Yes, I actually buy it because I get upset if somebody steals from me.

I do sometimes, especially if I know what I'm after. If I'm just messing around with different songs then I might go a different route.

I have a local used cd place, they have great deals. Since I like mostly older stuff, that's where a good portion of my stuff comes from. I also have some stuff that I downloaded from several artists myspace pages. They will usually have a few songs available at a time. And since it's from the artists own page, I figure I'm ok with downloading them.

I don't ride, I cook!

I have a HUGE library. and I buy from itunes all the time, if i'm just looking for one or two songs off an album 99 cents is more than worth it, plus the interface makes it soooo easy.

Yup - As Tony said, it is just so easy (with the Mac) to find what you want and pay .99 and BA'AMOH (it's a word) it is right there - As I have mentioned, for my DJ style music, I use Beatport - They are $1.50 a song because they do not have the Corp Backing of itunes - I dwnlod at least a song or three a day

The music on my ipod came from limewire. But the volume changes between songs.. I don't have alot of music and after the initial chunk of change .99 is cheap. I am just debating now but will probably buy from itunes.

I don't like DRM on my MP3s. I have bought from iTunes in the past, but got frustrated when I wanted to load songs to a music player that wasn't an iPod. I ended up burning those songs to disc and importing them back into iTunes.
(To adjust songs' volume on your iPod, you can right click on the song or multiple songs, select "Options", and adjust the volume manually. It's a PITA, though.)

Napster. Seriously look into it. 12 dollars a month unlimited downloads of DRM WMA files. $29 (one time fee) for tunebite which legally records near perfect (as perfect as the computer can tell) mp3s.

I literally get 5 to 6 albums a week. Way cheaper and easier to
MAnage than itunes. Alright enough thread high jacking
