they wanted a shitload to rename it before.. thats why it stayed sears

im not going to call it that.. but i still call Comiskey Comiskey

Seems like the price is pretty low too..
I know there was a lot of vacant space when I was there, but I had also heard they were still raising rents in the face of vacancies.. (now there is a hard headed business model)

No one but the media will call it willis tower, same thing for everything else that gets renamed in the city, what we are all used to calling something isn't going to change with this generation. Marshall Feild's is still Marshall Feild's, Comiskey is still Comiskey, and the Sears Tower will always be the Sears Tower. Whatever Flare Chicago has going for it keeps dwindling away. the History and intrigue of Chicago will be sold to the lowest bidder apparently.
