be careful...

I'm sure all of you has heard this a hundred times, but please please be careful. Gear up and try not to give in to the adrenaline rush.. And don't lie, we all have it.

One of my friends called me 30 minutes ago and yelled at me telling me I better fucking be careful. Her friend died this past weekend on a sport bike.

Stay safe!

I just watched a guy leave my work with his helmet strapped to the back. It doesn't work unless you wear it...

A gal got killed yesterday, in the subdivision right behind my place. My gf and I stumbled upon it when we were heading to dinner, only to find the road blocked off by cops and crime scene tape.

Here's the article:

http://www.suburbanchicagonews.com/b...031609.article

Motorcyclist killed in Bolingbrook crash

March 16, 2009

BOLINGBROOK -- A Bolingbrook woman died Sunday after losing control and smashing into a mailbox before being thrown from her motorcycle in Bolingbrook.

Lisa A. Adams, 42, of the 200 block of Bedford Lane, was pronounced dead at Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital in Bolingbrook at 5:22 p.m., according to the Will County Coroner's office.

Police received word about the accident about 4:55 p.m. after numerous witnesses called about the motorcycle accident, according to Bolingbrook Police Lt. Ken Teppel.

According to witnesses, Adams was traveling north on Bedford Lane at a high rate of speed when she encountered a curve, lost control and veered off the road before crashing into a mailbox and ultimately falling of her motorcycle, Teppel said.

Although paramedics were sent to the scene, Adams died a short time later at Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital, Teppel said.

Teppel said speed appears to have been the preliminary cause of the accident and said alcohol was not mentioned in the police report. However, police were awaiting the reports of a toxicological report from the coroner's office.

An autopsy for Adams is scheduled for Monday.

Sometime in the afternoon today I saw a guy on a gsxr 750 with a girl on the back... Neither of them wore any gear and he was cutting off cars as he was getting on the expressway and speeding off.. Sigh, I just hope people like that don't end up being another statistic.

Some people need to be a statistic to get rid of them off the face of the planet. Well I kid, I kid. But it is 41 right now in A-town. Gonna ride to work, because I can. Then riding all night

I came back from California from work and I saw them riding and I was Jonesing for a ride.

was riding with some friends sunday they brought a friend along and when we stoped for gas i instantly busted his balls asking why he has two helemts on the back of his bike but non on his head......a few more ball bust and his has was wearing a helmet

Everyone needs a healthy way to relax, mine Church, and two wheels, a stretch of winding road, and a pipe loud enough to give me headaches and make squirrels explode. (Fixed curtousey of PWRMAD)

Nothing is impossible the second we say ill try your already admiting you can be defeated, and the second you say i cant or its to hard youve already failed.

the thing is...i see this guy everyday riding, winter or summer, -20 or 50, and he crashed at 70 degree day

They have some cool designs although I went with gloss black. Eventually I'd like to have it painted up a bit. Even with the bright sun this am, it's really nice not having to wear sunglasses anymore.
