Registering a Vehicle after buying privately

I just received my title from the private seller and was wondering how to go about registering my vehicle with the state. Do I bring the title to the DMV and register it there and they send info to the state government? anyone know how this works?

Yeah, just bring your title and stuff to the DMV. Walk up to the little booth and the guy'll give you the form you need and you just check the "Title" section or whatever. Pretty simple, I think.

Lol, yup, I've only done it about 13 times so far. Have $130ish either in cash or check. I think they do except credit cards but it's only one certain brand and I don't remember the one.

hey, little advice. Bullshit the price you bought it for. You'll save on taxes (which you pay while registering it at DMV).

If the vehicle is a car then they go by the year no matter how much you spent. If the vehicle is a bike the taxes are only $25.00 no matter what unless bike is brand new from dealer floor.

I don't believe they take CC's IF I remember.
