Family of fatasses, say their gov isnt giving them enough $$

Family who are 'too fat to work' say 22,000 worth of benefits is not enough
A family of four with a combined weight of 83 stone say they are "too fat to work" and need more than the 22,000 they currently receive in benefits.

Philip Chawner, 53, and his 57-year-old wife Audrey weigh 24st. Their daughter Emma, 19, weighs 17st, while her older sister Samantha, 21, weighs 18st.
The family from Blackburn claim 22,508 a year in benefits, equivalent to the take-home pay from a 30,000 salary.

The Chawners, haven't worked in 11 years, claim their weight is a hereditary condition and the money they receive is insufficient to live on.
Mr Chawner said: "What we get barely covers the bills and puts food on the table. It's not our fault we can't work. We deserve more."
The family claim to spend 50 a week on food and consume 3,000 calories each a day. The recommended maximum intake is 2,000 for women and 2,500 for men.

"We have cereal for breakfast, bacon butties for lunch and microwave pies with mashed potato or chips for dinner," Mrs Chawner told Closer magazine.
"All that healthy food, like fruit and veg, is too expensive. We're fat because it's in our genes. Our whole family is overweight," she added.

Each week, Mr and Mrs Chawner, who have been married for 23 years, receive 177 in income support and incapacity benefit. Mrs Chawner is paid an extra 330-a-month disability allowance for epilepsy and asthma, both a result of being overweight.

Mr Chawner gets 71 a month after developing Type 2 diabetes because of his size. He was on a waiting list for a gastric band last year, but a heart condition made the operation unsuitable. Their daughter Samantha receives 84 in Jobseekers' Allowance each fortnight while Emma, who is training to be a hairdresser, gets 58 every two weeks under a hardship fund for low-income students.
Emma, said: "I'm a student and don't have time to exercise" she said "We all want to lose weight to stop the abuse we get in the street, but we don't know how."
==========================================

who the fuck are these lazy fat ass motherfucks think they are kidding. do u see what they are eating????

its called STOPING EATING THE CRAPPY FOOD. and watch your intake. and there is a picture in the link showing them ALL STANDING UP. what a bunch of fucking lazy asses.

...plus my gf was with me saying "omg slow down, slow down" and I was thinking "Lose annoying squalk box in passenger seat, afford more mods and have less weight in the car and on the back of the bike"...so i dumped her and I'm single again as usual...HERE KITTY KITTY!!!

Wait a minute... I can be on disability for being a fatass? Fuck that it's genius! I'm gonna quit my high paying job, drop out of school and sit on my ass all day watching TV and get paid for it. How do I go on disability?

I dont want to sound insensitive but they could try to work out and lose some of that weight instead of mooching off the government. A little bit of weight loss would improve their lives physically and financially because it they may be able to work a bit. I hate when people have excuses because they are too lazy to put in the littlest bit of effort. Just my opinion though...

This world is a crazy place. Overeating and underexercising is not an uncontrollable health concern for the taxpayers to subsidize. You wanna be fat do it on your own dime.

Put them on Biggest Loser UK.

They should get less money and a personal trainer. Once they lose weight give them jobs. If they gain it back and can't work again they get nothing.

we give out handicap parking to fat people and disability to alcoholics. as easy (and funny) as it may be to pick on fat people, this doesnt seem absurd at all to me. 90 % of what we pay disability out for is bs, let the fatties eat until we decide to cut back on the seriously atrocious abuses of welfare spending

Do you know what white rice is? Bleached and enriched...

Do you know what gluten is? Do you know what wheat is? Are you aware of how many calories are in the salad dressings from Panera? Checked their nutrition facts lately?

Sashimi is a better choice than sushi if ya wanna get down and dirty.

This makes me sick... especially since it's from my homeland. I have coworkers that are more than that and survive just fine.

I eat a lot of fast food because I'm lazy but I tip the scales at a whopping 185lbs (6' 0") When I'm not lazy I can pick up spaghetti and sauce that'll last me 3-4 days for the cost of one meal at McD's.

Namaste

To the times I'll never remember, with the friends I'll never forget.

Home cooked meals FTW!!!!

Get as close to the source of food as you can, and stay far away from processed stuff as possible. There's plenty of information out there, if you are serial and wanna chat, shoot me an IM.

Itemize me a home cooked meal price out.
I have yet to see a good home cooked meal beat the price of fatties.

1lb Chicken 6$ for fatties above likely need 2lb =12$
Fresh Veggies, 3-6$ for sides.
Carb source, Baked potatos $4
optional, fake butter spray for veggie and potatoes 1.80$
I got a total of $23
and now add in cook time, serve dishes, clean, etc . because time is money.

Now, the fun part is getting the fatties to stick with it due to flavor and chicken base.

Nah dood, I seriuosly know all this, in addition my father in law is allergic to gluten which makes it pleasant to cook well due to ingredients issues. I shop at 6-7 different places a week to get the best quality foods to serve the healthiest possible, (im not stripping completely. I enjoy taste) meals possible.

I have done numerous price outs to prove that cheap food, = bad food.

Hence why its so easy for fat poor people to stay fat.

What do you eat on the road when you need to buy something from a resturant. Thats what I was comparing to and I am looking for a response on this one.

you said there is better than what i posted that is, affordable, tasty, and relatively healthy.
