i was putting new brake shoes on my mustang, and was pulling one of the springs with a pair of side-cutters when they slipped off and i whapped myself in the face with the pliers. i was out for about 15-20minutes and had a very similar mark on my face.

springs in the drum brakes? that's about the only way I could see a screwdriver heading back at your face unexpectedly while doing a brake job.

indeed...fuggin drums!

thinking I'm going to charge them a fee for pain and suffering

..looks like i've got the bleeding to stop, didn't have iodine but cleaned as well as I could with a q-tip, then put a nice lathering of neosporine in and on the 'cut', butterflied it closed and a bandaid to make me look ridiculous lol

just hoping it didn't get all that dirty from the screwdriver (head of it doesn't look too dirty so...hopefully i'm good)

Chicks dig scars..... only if they have a cool story.

" I slipped with a screwdriver and stabbed myself" ...... not cool.

Any kind of drug use story labels you as a fall-down loser type.

Maybe "I got sucker punched by a drunk idiot while protecting my girlfriends
honor.... I got caught by his ring...... .then I kicked his ass"

Yeah..... that's good enough.

drums are the worse

first you need to worry about getting the drum off. frozen to the hub.

2nd playing around with the springs, and remembering how they go back

I use needle nose pliers to get the springs off. Wear safety glasses incase a spring goes flying off.

That depends on the recipient of said story - With the right crowd, you could spin this with a Kilo, an Escalade and some strippers in from Quebec and look like a true champ
