Mount Redoubt just erupted

And I'm like... Right here by it. I'm in Seward clear on the other side of the Kenai Peninsula.

Wicked. 9 mile plume. So much for the green movement aimed at limiting green house gas emissions!

In other news....... Al Gore is calling for special devices that resemble large wine bottle corks many miles wide and tall to be inserted in all known volcanos

It's being reported "operation shove it" could save the lower the earths gaseous emissions a percentage second only to "operation Beano" where Rosie O'Donnell was reportedly force fed beano caplets daily for one year. cost of said operation has not been revealed.

I have good pictures of it last week when it was farting a little bit. I was taking pictures from across the cook inlet north of Homer. Now I'm clear on the other side of the peninsula. No I did not get any pictures of it erupting and it doesn't look like the news did either because it was at night when it happened.

I posted a thread last tuesday with a few pictures I took. It should be in the open forum but I don't have time to look for it right now. Merge the 2 threads together if you have time to search. I have to get to work.

Who pays for the thermal vents perforating the ocean floor across the globe???

Thermal vents on the ocean floor will be charged back to American republican voters regardless of where they are in the world, as it's clearly their fault. Also Hawaii is getting grandfathered due on this law due to the presidents past heritage with the country, I mean state.

BWAAAHAHAHAHA...

And what about background radiation, sun bursts, UV rays, naturally aspirated carbon dioxide, methane plumes, naturally occuring heavy metals, radon and oil...nasty man, making all that oil.

And according to Fox News, the eruption wouldn't have happened had the republican won the White House.

Becky: [to Dante] OK, I'm only telling you this because we're friends, but sometimes, in the heat of the moment, it's forgivable to go ass-to-mouth.

In a statement from CNN president, Dick Reamer.... "todays eruption was clearly a vast right wing conspiracy brought on to make the president look bad after his poor showing on the tonight show earlier this week. It's also no surprise that this event was formulated to happen in Alaska, As sarah Palin will be using this event to boost her popularity in preparation for her bid for the white house in 2012"

Mayor Daley has also gone on record as saying "Todays eruption gives further explanation why we need more gun control." confused looks were shared by all in attendance

Just wait until the one in Yellowstone erupts. Anyone for downhill skiing in ash? Sad thing is when the ash covers Detroit in 2-3" of it, no one will know the difference.

I was in the hardware store here in Seward buying some desicant to keep the electrical cabinets free from moisture a little while ago. Well, when I was checking out all the lights flashed and the check out computer shut down and came back up on the clerk. There was just a big avalanche north towards Anchorage. Knocked out all the power down here. We are not on the grid but instead on back up generators.

I posted above on my piece of crap Blackjack.
