Check out this new magazine in our area doing up the bike scene.

http://www.speedstylesound.com

Is the link to there site.

ive been talking to Todd one of the guys I guess runs there place, and he is interested in getting more articles in his magazine for motorcycles, from stunting to track day and schools and rider groups.

I will be working with him back and forth to see if theres something that can interest both of us, that will help the bike scene TO OUR website. Weither it be large group rides, getting the word out about something, to being at our private track days even.

Everything is a possibility and nothing is set in stone.

i got to review a few of there issues, and it seems to me (in my personal view) its an all around of what's hot and what's going on in the Midwest, from cars, to bikes (which to me was a little limited to not being enough exposure of bike, but as he said the more he gets the more he can add) and that's why i am working with him what I can. it looks to be a COOL magazine all around.

just so you guys know, i am not making money or anything from this other then to get in alittle bit and help promote us and the bike scene in general, as he knows already, I AM NOT into mixing the line of what this club is, we are not a stunt board, and we are (pretty much) a REALLY bunch of safe riding guys and girls, with a focus of riding with gear, protecting ourselves, and having as much fun as we can legally, and we do track days, and such.

well with that being said. he is gonna give away 100 free subscription to OUR members, and all you have to do is e-mail him here [email protected] and let him know your a member of C. L. S. B.
as far as i know he is working with a couple stunt riding groups, and Monte over at sporttracktime (sp?) and i hope this relationship with us and speed style sound, will be beneficial to him, and to us both.

but be noted, IF for the slightest reason, we are portrayed as something we are not. i will yank us out of there and full willing to file a class action law suite agasint anyone to protect myself, and this site!

SO, like always have fun, and prosper in our pursuit of cycling.

Keep 'em coming! We're up to about 10 so far.

As Ken said, we are looking to expand our motorcycle coverage. Our next issue (those who already sent in their info just made the cutoff for it) has 3 big articles, one of which is about a fundraiser for motorcycle safety courses, and another which features a model. In fact, I personally am doing the Sportbike Track Time event at Gingerman August 23-24 and will be doing a writeup on the safe side of pushing the limits of a bike.

We are also working with a few stunt groups (D-Aces, Scooter Trash, Starboyz, etc.).

If you have any major events coming up please be sure to let us know. We can add them to our events listing and/or possibly come out and cover them.

And finally, if you have a unique bike please submit it through our website and it may be featured in the magazine.

Thanks!
Todd

You have a few trial copies Ken? What would you say the percentage of bikes to cars is in the magazine? In know you said he is planning on putting more bikes in, but I couldn't find any on the website. You say there are some in the mag though?

yes there was a few articles on bikes and track schools, (sportbike track time)

and like todd said, the more he knows and works with people the more he can add into it.

over all the magazine is an all around vehicle 4 and 2 wheels. but more cars then bikes in there. BUT like Todd said thats what he is working on.

sign up for a free mag...cant hurt its FREE!

and thanks todd.

if anyone from our site, has something other then a personal pic but more of something that has to do with the site...PLEASe run it threw me then i will run it threw todd to see what he can do.

not only will it over flow him, but i want to make sure we all look good, and somthing thats important doesnt get over looked, liek what ever our next charity ride or track day, or what ever.

you guys get my point.

and thanks again Todd for helping my members out and the bike scene in whole.

This is for 12 issues/1 year - if you email with a mention of CLSB.

The free trial (found on our website) is for one issue. I had a couple come through from CLSB that way but I adjusted them to the full year free.

If anyone is curious about the magazine, it can be found at most Borders and Barnes & Noble.

Cool! Those that signed up early should be getting theirs soon as well. Those that signed up in the last couple of weeks will be getting their first issue in about a month.

We still have a few subscriptions left out of the 100, so if anyone is interested please let me know.

Thanks!
