Tool Share?

I know this worked on some other forums I am on, and i figured it might work better here since we're all local. Basically we combine a list of the tools that you have and are willing to share (not every tool just the more unusual). That way people who need to use the tool for a one time procedure can save the cash, and give the donor some free booze/pizza/bj whatever...

Anyone think this is a good idea or interested? My thought would be just to have a list that people could look through.

I think it's a great idea, i've borrowed some speciality tools' from CLSBers before and saved a lot of money.

I have almost every kawi specific tool you need to strip the bike except a clutch basket holder and a swingarm castle nut tool.

I don't have tools to offer, but I can solder like crazy. I worked in a tattoo shop and made tattoo needles. They are tiny and have to be perfect so I got really good at it.

Its probably easier if people just post up what they need. every time some have in the past there is always people willing to help out.

That will work too, for simplicity sake I was thinking make the list once, if someone needs a tool PM them and work it out. Saves from having a thread every time someone needs to borrow a tool.

Well on the other forum when there was a deposit for the value of the tool it kept tools disappearing to a minimum. Locally I would just assume someone would bring the tool with them assist then take the tool back, or the borrower goes to the tool to be used.

Or take collateral. All you guys have faces of cheats and liars. I would trust any of you with burning dog shit....

Who wants to lend me some tools?
