Seriously, American Dad has far surpassed FG as of this season, I'm bored as hell by that garbage.

In all honesty though, I haven't been impressed with SouthPark this season either...

love southpark. took me a while. first i thought it was stupid like bevis n butthead because its so cheaply made.

Love family guy. didn't see todays thou. family guy is good cuz it relates to a lot of stuff from the 80s and tv shows.

american dad's character just seemed douchebag to me. have to watch it more. Ex. walking into 7/11 can I see your id, you might be a terrorist working at 711.

I'm the same with tv shows. took me a while to like seinfeld and cheers. But 100% i will avoid "friends" ew

yea, the character stan is SOO extremist is what makes it great. its unique ad why I love it.

FG just died in my arms when SP pointed out that all it is, is a weak story line to string together a bunch of random jokes that are not relevant to the story. today I predicted all of the jokes they used because they already did them all in previous episodes.

family guys good for doing a lot of politically incorrect.

Wow ... you're looking for quality in Family Guy? Isn't that like looking for a gourmet meal at McDonald's? hehe

And how can you not laugh at "... 'cause Brett's too big for the glory hole, and that's why everyone loves Brett!"

I really dislike american dad. To me its like there trying to hard to copy family guy, simpsons to get you to laugh. The talking alien, the talking goldfish? Just isnt funny to me at all. I did watch the first season as it came out and just never got hooked. I cant even remember laughing at anything in the show.

I am not current with family guy this season but that 1-6 are just golden. Just about every episode has me rolling. Some of the jokes are repeated, yes, but to me they come out of no were and still make me laugh because its been done and they dont care and do it again lol. Family guy is mostly a rip off of every show out there. Nothing more, nothing less.

Southpark I dont watch much of. Its just so gay. The 2 guys who wrote it are queer and turned this show into nothing but gay inuendo's. Once in a while is cool but when thats your basis for a show it just turns me away. There are a few episodes I really liked tho but in general most are just, meh.

Simpsons are just a timeless show. They did just about everything before anyone else. They paved the way for whats out now. They even put a movie into theatre's. However, no matter what they do, IMO they cant compete with the awesome of lets say seasons 1-12. Those will never die were I can see the new episodes being forgotten easily. They passed there prime by a lot of years and should really consider pulling the plug. I hate to say that because I am a huge fan of the show and reference anything in my day to the show in some way.

FG Has its moments - I have been watching it since day one so I have learned to take the good with the bad - AD is funny bought I kind of tuned out after season (1)

C'mon - FG is funny as hell but ya gotta put your money on The Simpsons - I still remember that from back in the early 90's and they are STILL GOING !!!!!

Same with a lot of people on here, American Dad just never clicked with me. I watch it, but it doesn't have the laugh out loud moments that Family Guy and South Park have to me.

Family Guy and South Park are about equal in my book. They both have on going jokes that repeat from episode to episode. The thing that turns me off to South Park is that they rely too much on making fun of the gays and jews. It was funny for a while, actually a long while, but lately, it's getting old.

The one thing I do give to South Park over Family Guy is how quickly they crank out episodes relating to current events. Sometimes I'm watching an episode, and it's regarding a topic that just happened a few days prior and it's funny as hell.

The episode of Family Guy a couple weeks ago was top notch though.

Quote:
Announcer: What's this? It looks like 'Til Death has taken a right turn, and is heading into the stands!
[crashing sound and gasps are heard]
Announcer: Dear, God! I could describe the horror I am witnessing, but it is so fathomabily ugly and heartrending that I cannot bring myself to do so, although I do possess the necessary descriptive powers. Oh, well, at least the horse ran past the class of visiting deaf second graders. Oh, no! Dear, God! He's going back!
[crashing sound and groans are heard]
Announcer: Oh, I know you can't hear any screams, but I assure you, they are signing frantically just as fast their little fingers can shape the complicated phoenemes necessary to convey dread and terror!
How can you not laugh at that?

The Simpsons is a classic, but like others have said, they are struggling to make it funny now. I still watch the reruns even though I've seen them dozens of times and still don't get tired of them. I try to force myself to watch the new ones, but have been struggling.
