Social Distortion would cover TripleZ's recommendation.

As far as newer stuff, check out Anew Revolution

Police Truck by Dead Kennedys
Punk rock girl by Dead Milkmen
More human than Human by White Zombie
Walk this way by Aerosmith and Run DMC
Baby like to rock it by The Tractors
Any Social Distortion song turned up loud as fuck.

+1 on Social D. What about some ska or big band type stuff? Stray Cats, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Dancehall crashers, Big Bad VooDoo Daddy (I'm going to see them in SEPT!!), Anything by Aerosmith, GnR.
For a bit harder stuff, what about The Exploited, VooDoo Glow Skulls, The Genitorturers?

I could list music all day long. My mind works much like an iPod.

I don't ride, I cook!

Thanks Thanks. I'm getting so sick of my same ol' cd's. It's pretty sad when you have 100's of cd's but find nothing you want to listen to on any of them, hahaha.

Oh and I looking for ROCK and METAL. Not so big on HEAVY METAL. I like to hear the lyrics clearly!

how does one come up at a loss for music in this digital age? internet radio, ipods, satellite radio, hd radio, music blogs, etc. all of the bands are complaining that you can get music anywhere. I'm confused.

Shotgun Messiah-Old school metal but it was pretty badass. Their best CD was Violent New Breed. Best songs were:

Not yet. I've been falling asleep every night after the kids go to bed........ SORRY!

I'll get to it. We're putting on our fender eliminators tonight and then watching Marley & Me (I heard it's VERY sad)

I actually downloaded the "IHEARTRADIO" application on my blackberry with over 150 crisp clear radio stations, and have been listening to an AWESOME rock station that plays classic rock, alternative rock, heavy metal, metal, and more. I love the station and jot down the songs in my memopad and go to download them later.

I wrote your suggestions down on a piece of paper though from everyone and plan on getting to make my cd Saturday night since the man is working a double and the oldest goes with her dad Saturday afternoon overnight. I'll sit and make a kickass cd with as many good songs as I can find so more suggestions are welcome. They are getting jotted down for sure! THANKS!

Of course, you're looking at about:
$14.95 per mp3 cd w/ roughly 120 songs.... sound good?

Any mix CD without Tool, or atleast Maynard, is a waste of plastic and dye as far as I'm concerned.

Caliban, Heaven Shall Burn, and August Burns Red if you want to punch stuff.
