Dano took care of us when we were down there getting Kayde's bike. He didn't even know I was a CLSB-er until after we were done signing papers and still made sure we were hooked up.

Now spill some details - what'd ya get??

One funny thing though.

The first time I went in to go buy oil and a filter I was looking at a bike one of the guys that worked there (don't remember his name) said hi to me.

I thought he was just being extra friendly for some reason and he's like "how's work going?"... I was like uh oh... he's confused... being Asian and him being Caucasian I can't really blame the guy. I think he was worried that I was upset about him confusing me with someone else due me being Asian. He continued to small talk me for a good 15 minutes and finished off with "I can tell people apart it's just after seeing 1500 people you kind of lose track... and you really do look like my friend."

So yea all us Asians look the same.

I went there and got hooked up by Dano too. Anything I've needed I've either gotten online or at DGY.

I live 2 minutes from Willy World and don't like them at all. I went there looking at a new ZX-10R after the new body style came out over a year ago, and he quoted me $11,000, but can knock a "couple hundred off since it's last year's model." Douchebag, too bad he didn't know I really was buying a bike, and picked up an R-1 a week later.

Willy World can suck it. I live two blocks from them. I'll drive 20 miles before I'd buy a can of chain lube from them. I've tried repeatedly to give them my business. I guess they just don't wanna deal with me. 5% off retail. Pfft.

I am beginning to build a relationship with Rich's Yamaha in Lockport/Lemont. I ordered a bunch of oem yami stuff from them last week. Parts came in when they said they would (3 days), at 18% off retail, with no shipping charges. I was able to pick them up at the dealer, saving me a few more days. Cheapest internet place I found was at 20% off retail, with out of line shipping costs/leadtimes.

If somebody can get me to 40 off retail their name goes on the bikes and the truck. LOL

My First ride on the 1RR was a rough one yesterday! All the way back from Rolling Meadows to joliet 35MPH+ wind gusts and 50 degree's Blah! It was still fun but I can't wait to actually get on it and enjoy the weather and not have it against me!

I dunno, I work close to it and havent had the best experience there. The showroom salesmen are pushy & the accessory/apparel dept are pathetic. A group of 6 were standing around chatting w/o a care in the world that I was looking around for 15 minutes before anybody said anything. Then when I did ask for help, the girl walked away mumbling that they probably didnt have it! Wow great hiring job! The only guys that were way above helpful were the parts department and the mechanics. They rock! Apparel and the sales department blew chunks, and I'm typically a nice customer. Not to mention the strick capitalist in me knows one can get much better value online. newenough.com plug

Same can be said about Chicago Cycle, and even their service department is a bit sketchy. What's with Chi having horrible motorcylce dealerships!?!? Guess too many trader HD posers, LOL. Maybe the fact that most of the time I'm in those stores its after work in my bidnaz suit, but still I'll be bent backwards before I give either of those places my $ ever again.

She's finally naked!

+1 on DGY. Spoke to them at the motorcycle show and was well taken care of. Purchased a new coat for the wife. She was impressed at the time taken by the salesgirl and all of the help. Will definately stop in to see the shop in person when the weather warms and stops friggin raining.
