Blue ridge parkway

Anyone got any good information on it? I wanna go take a ride soon, thinking about heading east then taking the blue ridge south. But have no clue where it runs or what the best way to travel it is.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Actually, the whole area is awesome. Far better roads, far less traffic can be found at: http://www.cherohala.com/

Anybody say JRock?

Killer area for riding. You can't go wrong.

I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin', and hook up with them later!!

Beautiful ride. Might as well visit the gap while you are there.

Skyline drive is awesome. Especially if your into the sites.

If you want a dream ride.....

Head to Moundsville WV. and take US rt. 250 to Waynesboro, VA

US 250 is one of my all time favorite roads. It ranks up there with the Gap and 421
Then take the Blue Ridge Parkway to Cherokee. Hit the "Across The Tracks Bar" in Bryson city. Ride for 3 days in and out of the Smokeys... Oh yea that Gap place and the cherohala are fun too. After you've had that fun. Travel North a bit to Shady Valley TN. and ride 421 aka (the Snake) also be sure to hit rt.16 in that area as well.

By this point, you may need new tires to get home. LOL

I did this ride 2 years in a row.
