Getting old

Sucks

Sunday I went to the lumber yard while moving some 10' 2x8 one started falling so I caught it .

Although it was heavy and falling fast I caught it with my left hand no big deal .The board jerked my arm, that was it no problem.

Until later sunday night when my neck started to hurt. After a visit to the doctor today it seems I have a mild case of Whiplash. The doc says its not an uncommon result from catching something heavy.

Do yourself a favor and let these things fall and save yourself the trouble of getting hurt.

I'll be fine a few vicodin and flexor pills should get me threw. The doc said a week it'll be over.

Be careful out there you never know when you might get hurt.

Gus

Great lesson. If a bike is falling, let it go. It is not worth getting hurt over. Get well soon my friend.

Ha....^^^^ Learned that one the hard way. Sore ankle to neck. And I still had to fix the turn signal, rear-set, and brake lever.

Funny (or not) how accidents can happen when you least expect it. I pulled my calf muscle irish dancing about a month ago lol true story.

Back in the day people used to talk about the drugs that made them happy....

Nowadays people talk about the drugs that keep us alive LOL

Getting old sucks. Heal up quick

The right way is not always the popular and easy way. Standing for right when it is unpopular is a true test of moral character

Heal up Gus. Consider it a life lesson. As we get older, we don't bounce as easily as we used to. That's why I've been investing in body armor for the track.

You either get old or you don't make it. I'll take Old over Dead any day. There is still much joy in life, even in these difficult times.

Bummer Gus. I've been battling a kink in my neck as well. Couldn't turn my head for three days.

Hang in there...pop the good stuff and throw on some Hendrix

Here's something to cheer you up!!

the best part about getting old is the young chicks stay teh same age.

The worst part is not trusting farts and not wasting boners.

I'm 27 and I've thrown my back out a few times requiring medical "attention" with muscle relaxers and pain killers quite a few times. Shit sucks. Heal up and go easy on yourself.

define old.

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.

Yea, you were looking at the map looking at a "Different" route to take back home. Some guy came by and saw you with a map and figured we were lost or something and tried telling us which way to go and you laughed at him.

Kinda. It is because of the road rash on my knees. It is hard to bend my left knee.

I'm 54. Thats bad to some and not so bad to others. Riding a motorcycle on the track and sometimes the street definately keeps me from becoming an old man. I'm not a fast rider by any means but one of the people I regularly go to the track is, he's 63. He is my hero. He told me to "use it or loose it". Thats good advise to people as they age.
