Need tints removed, need place near Schaumburg or Aurora/Naperville.

So I got a ticket from the Po Po, and have been pulled over 3 times after the ticket. So I need to get the front tints off. Anyone know of a place that will do it for cheap. Like 20 bucks. I don't have a heat gun or hair dryer to take it off. Thanks

dont take it off, go to the eye doctor and tell him how bright light is giving you headaches.

youll get a doctors notice informing you this is needed for driving.

And the cops, who are aware of this trick, will still give you a ticket and you'll still have to take time off work to go fight it. They will continue to do this till you give up.

There is a special form that needs to be filled out by your eye doctor. Also the thing that people don't realize is that the eye doctor needs to keep this form on file along with a copy of your evaluation. I tried to get a very good family friend to write me up one and he said straight up he would loose his practice when i got caught. Cause it needs to be a major eye condition like almost to the point of so bad that you shouldn't be driving. Also faking medical records is never a good thing.

Why bother taking it off?

Its not a moving violation just pay the fine and move on

go time traveler style and go back in time, fuck his grandma, then shoot forward in time and then fuck his mom. Then return back to present state and call him a the product of two incest whores and hes your son and show video of you plowing the both members of his family. .

2 fines = cost of tint job :P

Got hit by the Lombard PoPo for this a few years past. Guy was sitting in his car right outside of the Metra parking lot, just waiting for me to pull out.

Hated doing it but rather not have the asshat sitting there waiting for me to get back on the train everyday :P

And yes removing tint is easy peezy. DIY FTW.

Whats your point? I have had tint on all my cars 20% all the way around. Got a warning ticket once by state and one parking ticket by Chicago for it.

If you not driving the common street racing cars, drug dealing suv's and driving like a normal human being all the while not putting out all 20,000 watts of music chances are your not going to be bothered.

And the whole doctors note thing is bs cause they in fact have the WT plate. The office isnt going to know if that letter is legit or a kinkos copy. That's what the courts are for to decide that stuff

Well the difference here is I got clocked $70 right off the bat. No warnings. No "fix it" tickets. I wasn't doing anything wrong. I wasn't slanging rock.

Assume it's because Chicago cops tend to have more important things to worry about. In surburbia, they sit outside train station parking lots and wait

i suspect there was something else that prompted your traffic stop and not the tints.

man are you serious??? It is way to easy to have someone else do it. You really have to be an imbecile to not be able to do it yourself and I am not kidding. My grandma could do it!

Find a corner of tint and pick at it with a razor blade till it peels off then carefully peel off in 1 piece if possible. Most likely it'll come off in several sheets but that's not a big deal.

Next you are left with the adhesive left on the window. Get some windex and spray the shit outta it and make sure you keep it wet. Leave for a few minutes then use a FRESH razor blade to scrape it off. The ammonia in the windex will soften that adhesive right up.

Make sure you clean up your door sill and surrounding areas and yer done!

That's crazy, I have 15% all the way around and never have any problems. I actually went through a roadblock shakedown in naperville and they never said anything. Bellwood and Broadview don't do shit either. Next time you are out look at all the other cars that have tint and it will piss off you.
