Ramp for loading bikes in a truck.

so with the new truck, i need a new ramp to load bikes in my truck, the old 6' board is no good anymore as the angle is too great and the bike bottoms out, so i guess i should buy a real, aluminum folding ramp for loading bikes.

anyone know where i can get one locally thats not a bizzilan dollars?

alex, i know a guy that is selling "if he still has them" 2 of those nice aluminum folding single track ramps.

like you know, you would use 2 of them and space them as needed for a quad.

these are the type i am talking about. you interested?

MCC has them, usually. Nice aluminum one with a tie dow strap to keep the bike from spitting it out fron under it, if you power it up. 70-or 80, if I remember right. I use one myself, along with a tailgate extender/ramp thingy to walk on along side it.

EDIT: it's not a folder, but is long enough that it won't bottom. Very solid.

arched, so fairings dont drag

folding to fit in extended cab

price is right, and its lightweight.

600lb capacity is more than enough

i have the same one, and should be able to be ordered by whoever can get you a discount thru parts unlimited or tucker rocky. (your favorite dealer)

I think my ramp is 6 and a half foot and bikes with belly fairings bottom out in my Dakota too. Mine is 2WD so it's lower as well.

You're gonna need a long one

EDIT: mine is 82-3/4 inches long

Eric
