I bought a 1997 Fatboy for $6500 cash from someone he hardly knows but he referred me to. Turns out it had only been ridden 1000 miles in the last 11 years and has some minor engine issues. I didn't want to deal with it so within 15 hours I flipped it for $8000 cash. Just a word of warning, he's a real scumbag, stay away. He is such a jerk, he even helped me find work on numerous occasions now that I'm unemployed, we need assholes like him off the board.
I'm sorry Bobby, the reality of the matter is that I'm on my period now and the cranberry juice/midol cocktail isn't helping. You don't deserve this lambasting, I'm just a whiney little cunt with nothing better to do than bitch about things that could easily be resolved if I put my mind to it.
This lady is an old family friend of my father... well, she's the sister, the crazy one. Her husband passed away and needed help getting rid of the Harley, this lady is so crazy she doesn't have a clue about anything.
Long story short, she said she would take care of me if I got it sold. Wellp, I got it sold, and she never did take care of me. So I had SD slip some cash to me on the side...
Looks like the steering stop is snapped off the one side. If the frame was fixed, repairs would run about 7.5k. I will let everyone know if State Farm allows me to buy the bike back.
She's young though man, skill might not be worth the price, but she'll learn... she'll learn.
