dunkin donuts... watered down latte?

We just picked up a couple of lattes from DD and found them to be very watered down. Like cheap hot cocoa made with water.

Is this a trick to make a few cents more per drink? Any one work there? I know most are franchised....

DD has good coffee, but if you want a latte go to a real coffee shop

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

love their coffee.

could be they are going cheap on you. Like some places will keep the old donuts on the rack until every single one is gone then they put the fresh donuts up.

DD is only good for a cup of black coffee. Any sugar or cream to dilute it's already light roast flavor totally ruins it. Latte? I don't even think they have a proper expresso machine to make a latte to begin with.

they have no rules on how anything must be made. they can use 3 day old grounds and filter them through a sock if they want. This is why some places taste good, and some taste godfuckingawful. Say what you will about starbucks at least they're consistent because they're all corporate owned and the brewing methods are mandated.

DD used to be better back in the early 90's and earlier. Most of them are now owned by cheap bastids that dare to stoop to substandard levels just to make a few extra dimes.
