advice on license light

Hello, I have installed a fender eliminator. I may add I did a rather crappy job at it. I wanted to know how important is a license light. Well I guess what I am asking is how many people without license lights have recieved tickets for no license light?

It really depends on how the cops feel like that day.

You have one thing against you already...you ride a sport bike. So I'd play it safe and get a light on there. You can easily get some cheap LED one, even one from a computer store and just mount it however works for you.

I would put it in the same boat as the license plate bracket situation. Two of my riding buddies have illegal license plate holders(vertical) and they both have been stopped more than once.

Look at these.

They are available from other places that OPP. I like OPP but they are in Canada and that makes it a hassle to order from them.

I do a lot of late night riding. For a few months, I had no license plate light. I was pulled over four times in those few months. No tickets, but I had all my shit in order and wasn't drunk. Be expected to be pulled over and have all your shit checked.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

I have something similar to that right now, but the wire is hard to hide and sorta just hangs there. I have 06 zx-6r with stock exhaust(which is an undertail), so I cant hide it to well =/

DGY has lighted LED bolts for $20

I just did my fender eliminator kit, and the light they supplied was too tall and wouldn't fit with my tail light...so I bought the LED bolts

http://www.oppracing.com/show_produc...ype-2-angular/

Otherwize just accept that you may have to deal with being pulled over at the worst times... Like when your late for a hot date, or you just picked up that cute 16 year old.

Numerous times I haven't had a plate light and never gotten pulled over, but you should get one to stay legal

I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin', and hook up with them later!!

Don't give them any more of a reason to pull you over. Light it up.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!
