merging offramp

So I guess I ran 2 people off the road. I'm assuming the theory works this way.

People on the street have the right of way. People on the street drive normally. People that just got off the highway need to slow down and "merge" into traffic.

I understand when traffic is really bad, its ideal to create space for people to get off the highway. But this is happening when there is no traffic.

Technically, yes, those on the ramps have to yield.

However, in the event of an accident and a civil suit, you not exercising due care to avoid an accident plays into it.

You didn't run them off the road. They just never saw a Fiero before and were mesmerized by its coolness.

I came here to drink some beer and kick some ass. And it looks like we are all out of beer.

I'm also the same guy that almost got killed by some biotch that got off the ramp and decided to change 2 lanes at one time. Then I had the semi truck that wanted to get over a lane right after getting off the ramp.

On a motorcycle.

On a motorcycle.
And that justifies running 2 people off the road that had nothing to do with those incidents?

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

this is why we have bad traffic issues with merges, someone got jacked in their attempt to merge in the past so now they must spread it to others rather than allowing a smooth merge adn thus smoother traffic flow, instead you gotta block em making them slow/stop because you wouldnt let em in and they are running outta pavement

I said I only do it in "non traffic" situations. When theres no cars on the road.

If there is traffic, i will leave 4 car lengths in front of me to prevent 50mph to 0 mph stops. And this happens because everyone is tailgating and people from the ramps have no place to get off.
