There're programs to convert normal picture formats to ascii, so I'm sure there's one for video to do it frame by frame, etc.

Anyways.. pretty neat.

He is correct, there are converters for pictures, I actually have one... the one for movies is proably the same thing just going frame by frame, in any case I thought it was really cool.
