Twitter - What's The Big Deal?

I see all these fucking "Stars" all raving about Twitter - Is it just a fucking Message Board? (No Offense) - What's the big fucking deal about Mr. Demi Moore taking on CNN? - WTF?

Yeah, I hear about it at work a lot. I don't get it either. I became "cool" not long ago and switch from MySpace to Facebook. This isn't another thing I'll have to switch to is it?

Micro blogging. Just like FB but you don't have to log in to website. You can be an annoying FB fucker from teh convenience of your phone and also receive mobile updates of your list of friends. It's 10 times more annoying than FB people who post up that they're working everyday or that they made a large taco out of wood.

Indeed. I equate Twitter to the same type of people...well in Animal house when Bluto comes down the stairs and smashes the guys guitar on the wall. The guitar guy is the Twitter type.

I'm getting kind of tired of all of these personal boards. Myspace turned into a porn spam site...facebook has gotten so full of crap I can't even keep track of what the heck is going on, not to mention all the people contacting me...some of whom I haven't seen in 10 years or maybe talked to once or twice

Ahhhh, ok. So it's just like having the status section of FB. yeah, very annoying.

There are some people from this board who are on FB that update with some annoying stuff: I'm going to bed, I'm going to work, I'm eating, I'm riding my bike to the climbing wall.

Cool, I didn't want to piss off my friends with my updates.

So it is just like FB's "Status Update" Section? - Oh and the best thing I have done in a while was delete my FB Acct - I had fun with it for about 2 mos then it became a PITA

From the MotoGPnews site:

Well, I discovered that all of these MotoGP riders are obsessed with Facebook. And update their profiles straight after all of their sessions. So at 4pm, I became friends with them all to show you all what sort of people they are:

Casey Stoner is wrist hurts
Danni Pedrosa is looking forward to a holiday without his dad in tow
Valentino Rossi is trying to find the number for female dates direct for tonight
Andrea Dovizioso is looking forward to flicking Danni in the eye tomorrow
Nicky Hayden is now wearing red
Colin Edwards is relieved that he’s got another year with the minimum effort
Shinya Nakano is looking for a new job. Sushi cutter would do
Jorge Lorenzo is sad
Loris Capirossi is set your status here (he’s too old to figure this all out)
Alex DeAngelis is flaming!!
James Toseland is wishing Suzi Perry would leave him alone
Slyvain Guintolii is not looking forward to a paycut and the British weather
Chris Vermulen’s mole hurts
John Hopkins is hungover
Randy DePuniet is shocked he didn’t crash
Marco Melandri thinks 16th place is dignified
Anthony West is peeved
Toni Elias gfsgasfghjadflhjdlh (Toni hasn’t figured out a computer yet)

If you ain't with us, then it's just bad news.

I am feeling the same way. I have myspace and facebook and I never even check it anymore. Too much work! LOL I have no clue the point of twitter...but everyone is talking about it. It seems pointless to me.
Like no one cares what you are doing! Especially when you are saying stuff like: "just woke up, etc". LAME
