thank you obama mgtg plan

For proving to me that your just as useless as imagined. So many stipulations that they can disqualify anyone easily.

Example. I was just denied since iwhen I got the loan it was done no documents. (Don't know why... we had everything easily)

What does it matter whether it was no doc or not. Loan still was created amd still has been paid. Garbage

Maybe you should be upset with your loan officer for going no doc.

Why would I be upset with my mgtg broker. Its not like he delayed closing three times. Gave me nowhere to live and a 12.5 apr instead of 8.5 and a company letter saying it would be corrected and never fixed it and skipped town.

He said this plan was to help the average person in trouble that has been taken advantage of by lending institutions which a broker falls into line of being part of the blame.

I would love to refi but am upside down in my mgtg.

why go no doc if you didn't need to? it increased your rate. You should be pissed at your broker if he didn't fully explain it and alternatives. I'm guessing no doc is a disqualifier because there were a lot of borrowers (not saying you) that took full advantage and/or committed fraud with that method. Basically it was a way for people to qualify for loans that they had no business of getting and they shouldn't be rewarded with a bailout over someone who is legit. Again, not saying you but this is how no doc had been used often

danke senor.

just a shitty situation

we try so hard and still get bent over. we read as much as possible to prepare ourselves for everything but in the end just getting walked over.

i pay my bills. they raise my aprs on my cards. i pay off a card to balance transfer and they close it. hurting my credit since its my oldest card and then other banks jack rates up more because im wounded and my credit drops.

i am just upset because i would rather not had that blown up my skirt and lived in crappy bliss and not get excited of the possibility of help

Call Jason Temme and see if he can unravel this mess for you. He's good people and I can't recommend him enough.

When Bri and I closed on our house, he showed up...which surprised everyone that the Mortgage Broker would bother...but on top of that, he showed up the day after he had a bad crash at the track (and looked it too!). And if there was any questions on anything, he jumped right in and took care of it. I can't imagine anyone better, seriously.

I'm waiting/hoping for rates to drop just a hair more, and I'm doing a refi through him. Already got the bug in his ear, just waiting for him to tell me when to go!

Dude that sucks. I had Capital one raise my APR two months after they lowered it. It was a low balance fortunately and I just paid it off. Banks are the devil.

I'm sorry to hear that my friend...all I can say is pay it down ASAP.

As soon as I get the Scion paid off, that $330 a month is going to go towards paying off the house. I think we paid $210k, and similar houses in my neighborhood are going for $185k right now...

Nothing I can do but chill and and enjoy what I have...

I'm sorry you're getting bent like that...especially with a bambino on the way!

+1. I would love to find out the percentage of people this "plan" will actually benefit. So you have to have a certain mortgage with a certain owner, can't afford it but be current, not make too much money but enough to cover just under that, not too high a mortgage and not too low. Hmmm. Sounds like quite a few people will benefit.

It sucks you lost your job and could find one making the same money. But thats capitalism. You shouldn't have bought stuff you couldnt afford, and now you're looking for a handout?

wat?

LoL, I have been paying it ever since flawlessly. I just think if these are the wanks that helped run our country down I might a well get my stuff fixed.

I see it as such. I get boned by the lending institution, (my shadey broker is the part of this) and I get put into a position where its just better for me to pay it rather than to lose more money and refi, so I sit on crappy loans. I lose job, now it becomes neccessary for me to refi and lose money long run so I can afford todays bills reasonably.

Lending institutions that created an unsettling market now have caused homes to depreciate and put me in a situation where I am unable to refi due to owing more than now the current homes value.

So how is this asking for a handout? asking for my rates to get lowered to a reasonable number is not a handout, its how good buisness should be.

I have had one late payment in 7 years, a few job losses and relocation. My bills get paid, I just dont think its fair that I get abused like I am currently because of some greedy jerkoffs in the biz.

Who signed the original papers to buy the house in the first place?

Usually people would have bought a smaller (more affordable) place or rented.

Double check, go to their sites. They have a online thing where you put your addy and info and they tell you if they own it.
I didn't think my loan was from either of them because I got my loan thru Wells Fargo and my monthly bill says Wells Fargo......Well it turned out that my loan is really held by Freddie Mac. Got my refi in the works right now. Was approved to take advantage of this new plan already. The plan totally kicks ass and lets honest folks like me who always pay on time and DID NOT buy more than they could afford hop onto a new lower rate without paying PMI due to decreasing property values as long as you originally put down atleast 20%. Believe you can refi 90 to 105% ltv. To qualify for no PMI you must have never had PMI on the loan in the first place.

it was affordable, up unto 5 seconds before the papers were signed.

the guy bait and switched us, and when you have nowhere to live and a letter from him saying that it will get corrected we signed.

Granted that wouldnt fly now but I was 22 at the time and thought legal notarized documents could hold people accountable.

Gotta love the system they had.

But regardless. should this new plan of mortgage reduction assist those that got in over their heads. Or people like in my situation that got facked?

a.) when it got to the point of settling this legally he was out of the company and somehow was not able to be held accountable. And how much cash do you have lying around for attorneys? because I didn't.

b. and where do you live meanwhile? we already made mention in this post that I had nowhere to live and was already in suit with my previous residence.
