Paging the Guy with the 675 from Winks tech day

The gentleman that got his suspension set at Winks tech day today, please make sure to check the collar on the rear shock is tight against the collar on the spring. I don't remember if we tightened the second collar for the rear shock or not.

It was nice meeting you too and all the others. It is to bad I suck at names but can remember faces well.

PS I found my part number for the rubber piece I'm missing for the rear tail light. Will get KY when I find out how much.

Don't worry, Hman 675 (Chris) noticed it before he left Wink's and got the wrench and locked it down.

If you ride like there's no tomorrow, today will be a BLAST!

Yep that's me. I tightened it up before I left so no worries. Again, thanks for setting it up for me! Definitely a noticeable improvement and I can't wait to really test it out at Putnam on Saturday.

If you are talking about the rubber piece that holds the taillights up on the 996, I think the part was $11, and it was in stock (at the time) at MCC.

I glad you caught it, as I was driving home I was thinking as I didn't remember tightening it.

Glad you like it. Just take notes on what you do to the knobs (comp and rebound) so you can undo changes if need be. Riding on the track sometimes requires a tigher suspension, but a lot depends on the riders with regards to braking and throttle application.

Yep that is the stupid part that fell out when riding home from work on Friday so the brake lights are not visible in the tail. Thanks
