Had a bad day.

Went out to lunch today with my girlfriend, got back to the car to find a smashed window and my bag was gone. No more macbook, ipod or digital camera. Some D-bag is going to be very happy with his score. This happened on the 3400 block of N. Halsted. Car was just out of sight from the restaurant we were at. Lots of foot traffic, big time bummer.

Bleh!

Sorry to hear but leaving items like that in the open is asking for it. Do what i do put it in the truck even for 2 minutes especially in the city limits

go time traveler style and go back in time, fuck his grandma, then shoot forward in time and then fuck his mom. Then return back to present state and call him a the product of two incest whores and hes your son and show video of you plowing the both members of his family. .

Yeah, I don't even know how they saw it. Black bag in the back seat with tints. Whatever, should have brought it with. We were gone for less than a hour.

Sucks to hear man. If you live in the area then I don't know what to tell you. I lived at Broadway and Barry this summer. Exact same thing happened to my roommate. Also, every week I would see vehicles in my neighborhood with broken out windows. I parked on the street 24/7 365 with a toolbox on my truck. I wasn't even once bothered at all, but I would also not leave ANYTHING laying in my truck. Not even a notebook, NOTHING.

Damn, sorry to hear that. Having stuff ripped off is a shitty feeling. Moreso when you could have prevented it.

Life has no instruction manual. Parts and labor can be impossible to find. Many go down the road with parts that are in need of service. A breakdown is eventual.

dats fishy.

I hate the city. Don't know how people can stand living in chicago. I doubt its the economy to blame. They've been busting windows and stealing stuff out of cars as long as I've been around.

when i used to live on 1000 n. lasalle, the broke my chevy windows twice. didnt take shit, except a rkellys hot new cd, tp2.

economy doesnt matter, people will steal shit regardless. i never leave anything in the car, i even tell my gf to take her 80gb ipod with her and not leave it in the car. not only do u lose your priced posessions but you got to pay gfor it (broken windows, scratched leather seats). trust me ive had to spend about $600 cuz of those broken windows.
search craigslist or pawn shops for the mac ipod or camera. sorry bro shit sucks

This is going to be a long-term relationship

Someone probably saw her put it in there on site.. stop elsewhere, put it in there, then drive to your final destination.
