These are nice, did find out that if you are a DoD contractor or work for the military you get 50% disc. Would love to get these.

Oakley Government Sales has been selling to the US Military and US Government for over 20 years. Over time Oakley's military line has transformed from a few models to a highly specialized division within Oakley. These products are designed exclusively for government customers, and are not available in retail stores. The Government Sales office is a division of Oakley's main office in Foothill Ranch, California.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

When I used to sell Oakley back in the day, they were the coolest company to work with.

A few years ago I bought a $220 pair of titanium, polarized sunglasses and was shocked when I went from a warm room to a sub-zero outside temp that one of the lenses popped out from the temp change! As I bent over to pick up the lens that had skidded across the pavement and ice, the second lens popped out. I swear it was so goofy I thought someone was playing a trick on me.

I called Oakley and asked if they could reseat the lenses and make sure the frames were tight to the lenses, and they basically said only if I paid $125! Not very good customer service for $220 glasses that were 3 days old!

Major turn off since then. I've since switched to Costa del Mar which have been outstanding glasses (assuming I don't get them stolen from me at photo shoots).

I have a set of Ducati Juliets. I like them pretty well but I really only wear them in the summer, so I can't comment on the lenses popping out.

Awesome, did not know about this. Is it only for specific pairs of glasses?? If I can help anyone out with this, let me know.
