King Abdullah of Jordan Loves Motorcycling

I was listening to Public Radio this morning and they had an interview with the King of Jordan about his talks with Obama on Israel and peace talks there.

As the interview was winding down the reporter asked about his motorcycle hobby and he said he's often jumps on the bike, puts on the helmet, grabs 3 or 4 of his secret service bodyguards and hits the road. He just toured Gettysburg and the eastern US and has also been touring in OR with his family.

He's been known to ride a Harley in South Africa and just dropped coin on a Confederate which is one of the coolest bikes around.

I have a few Jordanian friends and they are all great folks. It's really cool to see a moderate in this region. Also, his wife is hot.

Ah an optimist. Helpful in the middle east. Hope he isn't drinking the Buell Kool Aid though.

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.
