I just put mine in the garage

"I just put mine in the garage"

Those were the words I heard while sitting at a red light IN THE RAIN 15 minutes ago.

Last time I checked it was supposed to be a nice night....Damn this Chicago weather.

That's ok, a couple of Rossi tail slides at limit plus was worth it.

No rain, snow or dead of night will stop this rider.

For cryin out loud, this circular storm system was on the news for at least the past 5-6 hours that it was headed this way.

If you are going to be on something that exposes you to the elements, make sure you have the accurate information each step of the way.

Everyone Exaggerates

Geez! I had no idea I was in the presents of a meteorologist forum.

NEWS! What's that? o that's right those liars on the tele. Fuck them! No time to watch that crap!

It's almost always a 50/50 chance anyway.
I'm not complaining about the wetness, just thought it was funny that a fellow rider was kinda bragging as he was in the comfort of a dry cage(truck) that's all.

last year, i took this girl on a date, she was rather beautiful. i took her to north beach on the bike, we were sitting on the beach talking... looking out onto the water .... in the distance i saw lightening.

i ensured her that it is not coming our way, 15 mins later, the loud crack was nearly above us, we ran to the bike .... got on, and headed on our way.

soon as i got on I-55, instant pouring..... i could barely see. i exited on the next possible exit and went to the nearest gas station with a roof. parked.

i was soaked to my undies, she was dry (i guess due to the forward movement)

ironically: i was wearing a shirt that said lightening on one arm and thunder on the other and in the center said "dont get caught in the storm"
