I don't think anyone at the company knows who did it. It's sort of a mystery

We probably don't need the Mayans, Nostradamus, Noodles' work computer or NASA for that matter to prove that we are already fucked. The world is going to end at some point and we will be extinct like the mammoth and dinosaurs. New species are going to walk on this earth and they will find our remains and get all excited about it, display them on museums and try to figure out the year that human race went extinct lol and that's no science fiction

The Mayans got conquered, Nostradamus just makes broad generalizations (Somewhere at some point, two towers will fall..."oh my god he was talking about 9/11!!!"), and NASA can't even keep their own projects from epically failing. I think we'll be okay.

True, but how to you explain the blackhole that's going to form on 2/12/2012 at my company's manufacturing line

Back story: Our order system defaults to 2/12/2012 when a customer places an order. Once the details are worked out, the date is updated. If they never update them, the orders remain somewhere in our system. It's a company joke that our system will implode upon itself on that date and a blackhole will form.

This info has been out for quite a long time. I'm surprised they are writing the article as though it's some new discovery...

Lay off the pipe. There were plenty civilizations that aren't around anymore, that were scientifically significant, Mayans definitely being towards the top of the list.

NASA might not have a perfect record, but who does? Last time I checked military as well as civilians use gadgets on a daily bases that wouldn't be around if it wasn't for NASA.

that one's half a mill cheaper, and much nicer too. The pictures on the site suck, but the place looked great on HGTV.
