PM BroBill, I think he either knows some, or know someone that rides the. I have to still talk to him but we might be setting up a ride out there during the next month. There is supposed to be some good stuff around Monticello.

i meant door to door times. anyone can top speed run it, but its all about time baby. I did it in an hour and 55minutes once, dorm room door to house door and that was in my old shitty ass car. its all about consistensancy and no stopping!

How you found us: Came over from CF when CLSB broke off

I grew up in the South 'burbs and it was 114 miles door to door for me in Champaign. My personal best was 1 hour and 20 minutes for what was routinely a 2 hour drive. I was following a guy with a radar detector.

Another quick drive was when I fell into a convoy of about 15 cars behind an unmarked cop. He kicked our group's speed up to about 90mph and held it there for a good 20 miles. At one point he began tapping brakes and slowed the convoy down to a reasonable 65mph. About a mile later we all passed an unmarked in the median. About a mile later he kicked it back up to about 90mph. Drove that speed for another 10 miles or so before he took an offramp. Going home for dinner would be my guess. to that cop. Way cool!

I am not in this world to live up to your expectations, nor are you here to live up to mine.

I know an awesome back way to Champaign, but I'd have to dig up some directions.

The only problem is I got nabbed by a Livingston County Sherrif the last time I was coming home from a Bears game for doing 31 over. First time I saw a cop on the backroads and I got caught big time. You can easily do 90+ on these roads, but now I'm not too sure about speeding on them anymore.

invest 20 bucks on an IL gazetter book at walmart or any discount dept store (red covered atlas of every state road (including back roads) about 30 pages covering all townships.

Look, I can appreciate this. I was young too, I felt just like you. Hated authority, hated all my bosses, thought they were full of shit. Look, it's like they say, if you're not a rebel by the age of 20, you got no heart, but if you haven't turned establishment by 30, you've got no brains. Because there are no story-book romances, no fairy-tale endings. So before you run out and change the world, ask yourself, "What do you really want?"

Not to bastardize but that could'nt possibly be in your civic! I mean when you flip the waste gate and kick in the turbo you should of cut that time down considerably! Or do you only use that part of the car for street runs?
