Just got ahold of one of the greatest concerts of all time as a digital copy

I actually have this on VHS... I have seen them over half a dozen times.. this and Holiday Star will live in infamy..

Ministry.
In case you didn't feel like showing up.
Live

My god.. I am listening to So What now and I have fucking goose pimples and my hands are tingling...

Damn.

Just incredible...

I have such stories from these concerts.. Good old days

I need to pull it apart a bit so I can post some of it..

Riviera Theater
1989/1990
NYE Night.

I used to be able to bench press 50 more lbs to burning inside.. (live).. something about how raw and powerful that song is.

I feel bad for anyone who has never seen/heard this concert... The video has 1 more song than the cd btw .. Breathe

Throbbing Gristle - Wow havent heard that name in a long time, Yeah Ministry rocked. I was at the riv back in 1988 fuckin kicked ass, i was dating this Ho who went to see them thinking they would play the old synth pop shit from " With Sympathy and halloween" I didnt tell her that Al Changed things up a bit. It was a fuckin gas whatching all these preppie fucks freak out to Als true dark side! Ya gotta love it, that will go down as one of my all time concerts besides "Scream" back in 1983 at irving and broadway, the centro american hall shows, kick ass old school punk there.

I dont know how i found this but back in 1983 this tv show on CH7 called Eyeonchicago did a thing on the cubby bear, they used do the all ages punk shows in the early 80s, DOA was playing the night they filmed it i jump on the stage at 2:03 to 2:10 mins what a little dweeb i was. That was some real good times back then,no worries No BS!

I used to comp Uncle AL while working the door at Neo in the late 80's/early 90's...

Although the highlight of my Chicago concert history is being at the GG Allin show at the old Exit on Wells...

Course the Old Skull show at the Cubby Bear was hillarious...

"let's go, let's go,let's go kill that man!"

IIRC it was two 8yr olds and an 9yr old with one of their fathers being in Naked Raygun.

"It's not the size of a dog in a fight... It's the size of fight in a dog..."

Bro you dont need a drink to figure out if you need a motard, shit man you live in the city and havent gotten one yet, COME ON! When i lived in Chicago i used to fantasize about having a KX500 with slicks on it and tearing up wrigleyville. I had my 86 GSXR 750 which was a blast. Whads da madda wit u!

I might be taking the wife down for our 5yr anniv and stay dt and go see 9IN Nails and go out after that.

I converted the video so i could load it on my iphone... the laptop speakers suck.. I want to blast it loud enough to make my ears bleed.

I started out wanting the 610.. I even posted in the SM forum on here... which should I get... everyones answer seemed to be if you can swing the money the ktm was far and away better.. The only one I have ever ridden was an sm610 on a demo ride in ohio

I have 2 places right now.. moved out of my old apartment july of 07 but kept it around... that's in logan.. giving it up at EOM

Now I live in Boystown... Belmont/Broadway...
Hopefully not for much longer, we are listing the place up... but the market seems to take a while
