SOW Has Opened My Eyes

WOW, I never realized there were so many morons on two wheels.

I never go there but I pull in there after a couple hours of riding to stretch my legs and shoot the shit with some fellow riders. Someone must have flopped a steamer in the gene pool of that area cause I think some of those guys had brain damage.

Now it all makes sense, sky high insurance premiums, dirty looks from cagers, hassled by the fuzz for no reason.

Well at least I got some good tips on how to outrun the popo and how you don't need gear if you learn to properly roll in the event of a crash. If I'd hung around I'm sure there is much more I could have learned from the cafe racers with three in chicken strips who swarm there.

My buddy was talking to a guy today that was riding an early 90's CBR, and the guy didn't know what kind of bike it was. My buddy knew what it was but the guy just said it was an early 90's kind of bike. Now, he is looking for an 04-05 GSXR 1000. Has 0 gear. Good idea.

They're just all to damn hard to wear gear. You know it's tough growin' up in dem Streets!

Dem...streets....of....Woodfield...

Those Nieman Marcus makeup ladies'll cut you! Cut you so bad, that uhh...you wish, they didn't, ya know, cut you so bad...

All jokes aside though
I hated SOW before I had a bike because I saw the raging boner dbags always there on their bikes since I was in high school.

It's the kind of people that like to cruise around the parking lot of a movie theater and blast music in their cars...same type, and packs of them too. Too much money, not enough sense.

As your attorney, I advise to you take this acid

Haven't been there in a few years, but I remember when I used to go to the movies there would be a bunch of punks all over the place...mostly teens trying to act cool on their bikes and idiots in ugly cars driving around the theater over and over and over.

I never understood why all the bikers hand out in that area. The only things around there are cops and potholes.

Who the frack still buys Starbucks anymore anyways? I'm sorry, but I feel like a real asshole drinking a $5 cup of coffee.

Meat heads. I think it is more of an age thing than a rich kid demographic. If I had a bike when I was in my late teens to early 20's I would have been dead years ago. We all thought we were bulletproof then. I did crap in my cage back then that I just shake my head at now.

So true. I'm pretty sure all of us did. Still do... most likley. The difference is now we do it at the right time and place such as the track. That old need for speed and danger doesnt just die, it only becomes tempered by our sence of mortality.

Make sure you boost their ego too so when the want to show their 'skill' funny shit happens.

I don't wish them to get hurt at all, but I do hope they fuck up their bikes.

I sometimes will ride to SOW, to laugh at idiots wheeling down that frontage road...but mostly to get jamba juice.

Last time I was there I saw some guy who didn't look old enough for a mid life crisis drive by in a shiny new(ish) lambo....felt a little bad for the guy because of potholes and speedbumps.

The funniest part is seeing the "bad asses" who's gear conststs of a hoodie, jeans, and gym shoes. Hey cheap bike after they become a stain somewhere, I can wash their blood off a bike no problem.

llama spit - that is all.

Yeah I guess it would be entertaining. Shit in the ten minutes I was there there were almost two fights. This one douche pulls up and says to this other douche he wants to race, if he wins he will take his bike and his girl. The second douche says say it again to my face.........

Nothing happened but it was pretty funny. Ironically the guy starting shit was pushing forty and on a gold wing

Then a few minutes later two more idiots start arguing

I should have known what I was in for cause when I pulled in there I said hello and asked if they were grouping for a ride somewhere and they say no and everyone looked confused as fuck. I guess they just park there all day and stand around their bikes and occasionally rev their engines.

Sounds like something Ken would do.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

I love to do this with my chromed out 900RR in my driveway, but I think it pisses my neighbor off. She just bought some new bike and bought one for her boyfriend too and she keeps giving me the stink eye whenever I'm out tuning my machine...

Very few can handle the power for the 900RR...
