Anyone else going to ACEN this year?

Anime Central is this weekend starting Friday. Thursday for me i guess.

Anyone else going? I'm still debating about taking my bike, not like i'll ride it much, but very few people there get to see them ever. It's almost like many of them never leave their houses...lol

anyway, if anyone else is going, maybe we could met up and drink or something, I'll be there all weekend, so we should meet and drink some. Did I mention I'll be drinking there

well you wouldn't be able to get into any convention related stuff, but the hotel itself they can't kick you out of. So if you just wandered hallways and such, you could. but otherwise security is pretty strict.

With the right story you can always get past the front door

go time traveler style and go back in time, fuck his grandma, then shoot forward in time and then fuck his mom. Then return back to present state and call him a the product of two incest whores and hes your son and show video of you plowing the both members of his family. .

I've attended, sponsored, staffed, and ghosted cons...never been a panelist.

I have a few friends going to ACEN, but from all accounts it's too big for me to enjoy...that and I stopped watching anime a few years ago, couldn't find anything that could keep my intrest after Evangelion and Hellsing.

after you realize there is life after EVA, lots of stuff is good. Try watching Ergo Proxy. It might make your brain explode though, it requires a bit above average knowledge base to understand what is going on. Not for your average anime fan. Hellsing has been re-released as an OVA series, much darker, more violent, and overall better in my opinion, check them out too.

We use the term "staffed" very loosely when it comes to you

Oh shut it sweater-vest.

there's a reason I get asked back...if you have a loud twat at a registration desk the people in line waiting tend to be more calm when they get there...because they don't want to deal with me.

You gain "respect" by being a dick; I get it via the allmighty sweatervest. You have no idea how people wearing pizza and ramen stained 7 year old con shirts freak when I come rolling in like the secret service

God knows it's the only way I can get someone to take me seriously :P

Haha. Booze always makes EVERYTHING better, especially cons.

I've done everything from security to programming. I have no idea why in the hell I do it, but hey it can be fun and entertaining at times.
