Leave it that paint scheme rocks. Man every time I see that paint scheme I want to ditch my RC for a VFR and just sport cruise.

Doesn't matter. It's like painting a Repsol when you could've just bought a 1krr to begin with. Someday you can sell it for 10.5k just like that Repsol that looks better than the new one on egay.

The bike has such good lines for a really cool color, but I am tossed about it. It's definitely my favorite bike to do medium range trips on.

I like solid color bikes. I say go all black or all white. make wings white on black or vise versa.

not just that, you will be destroying a LE paint scheme. if it were just a normal vfr I'd say have at it. i know you like that bike a lot so you'll prolly keep it for a looooong time. it'd be a shame if it the limited edition paint were changed because you'd regret it later and prolly ridiculed by classic bike snobs down the road. i think she'll make a great collector later on down the road as the vfr has rich history.

I was thinking of something like that actually. They sell them in blue or white. I was also considering powder coating all the silver pieces. I am wondering if that is all that is bothering me about it. 80% of the time the trunk is not on the bike, but the bar stays on it. I already know I want to powdercoat the rear pegs...

Paul, the idea of color is cool but I'll go out on a limb and say to leave it! Not because of color. reason: sameyourmfmoney! You're spending too much MF money on BS (there, I said it!)-save your money for your future or future family. At this rate, you'll be broke in no time.
It may sound harsh but not intended to insult. You're a cool cat around here, hate seeing you throw your money away like that. Feel free to pm/email/tell me to mind my f'n business, we can talk. Just trying to look out fo 'ya mane

You are probably right. But painting is cheaper than gettigni new bikes all the time If I can get them to where I really like the look/feel, then my desire to go get somethign new all the time won't be there. Right? At least that's the story I am trying to agree with in my head
