I did lunch there today with a buddy of mine. 10 bucks for a burger, fries, and beer or soda, plus sidewalk bike parking. I think I found my new favorite place dtn.

I live down the street from Phillys Best (different store than you are talking about I imagine) - The one by Belmont and Clark...

and it has been my experience that they make the best damn philly I've had and I have been to philly )

extra meat with onions and mushrooms mmmmm

expensive sandwich though... Everytime we get them the wife loads them up and they are about 15 bucks a piece

that was the one I always used to go to when I was downtown. Now, the one in Greektown is closer to where I work. We've come to find out that pretty much everything they make is delicious. Nothing has been not worth ordering again. good place. yea, it's a little pricey, but it's so worth it.

And I've had a philly native say they're the best 'steaks outside of philly.

The Spoke has redesigned their interior, and the bar is now in the front, curved room. Best decision they've made yet! I'm glad to see they're still rocking the great chow.

Look for my stock ducati 1992 900ss exhaust mufflers at the top of the stairs, right before the door. I'm kinda famous!

If you've not been there in a few years, I highly recommend a trip back. Especially for the upstairs outdoor seating.

The old location was a little closer to home. However I think they still do Smut and Eggs on Sunday nights after midnight at the current location, so still a fun spot.

Yup Yup - Then back in the early 90's, Chicago Mag voted them "Best Bloody Mary in the City" and their business skyrocketed, hence all the new seating - Hell, it use to be a bar, 5 tables and a pool table when I started going there in '94
