do you realize how much of a pain in the ass it is to take that bike apart? you'll pay a mechanic 500.00 simply to do that alone, let along detail it. bro, spray the underside with cleaner and hose it down.

i refuse to even do my own.

There is a product called "Back to Black" that detailers use to get wax and polish spots off of black bumpers and trim and the like. There are many products like it on the market.

As always, try it in an inconspicous spot to make sure it doesn't screw with the PC and looks the way you want it.

Properly cleaning and treating the (black) trim is a great way to add more contrast and detail to a show car. I'm sure it holds true for a bike as well.

Paul, I know a good bit about detailing, but I have no clue how to detail a Goldwing. What Ken says scares me away from wanting to offer.

I actually picked some of that up a while back but haven't used it yet. Might have to give it a try this weekend.

As for the contrast, no luck on that when both bikes are black. Hopefully it will spruce them up anyways. Thanks for the tip!
