I wonder if this guy's related to the one who gets busted (and lays his bike down on the way out of the parking lot) on Speeders?

When the pepper spray runs out, can I have your number?

who was it?
i can't imagine it was on tmz unless he was someone famous.

incidentally.. why am i not surprised you watch tmz... and are not even ashamed of it at that...

Let me tell you a little story TDS
When I was a kid... We were pretty poor and my parents shopped at K-Mart...
There were a # of us kids who were stuck in that predicament.. It was the 70's times were tough.. In any case.. There were 2 things that happened if you saw someone you knew shopping at Kmart..

A: You were buying BB's or Pellets.. Both items it was socially acceptable to buy from Kmart.. They had good prices.. Everyone buys ammo for the best deal they can.. Even now. (especially now)

B: You both acted like you never saw each other.. and never ever mentioned it to anyone else or even the person you saw...

but sometimes there was a C:
the C: was that dirty poor kid who everyone knew was dirty poor.. He wasn't ashamed to be at Kmart.. He embraced his dirty heritage... if he saw you there he would tell everyone.. and you'd get made fun of for days... everyone hated that dirty poor little jerk...

Know why I am telling you this?

Because you said "I just saw this on TMZ" without a qualifier.. You know like
"the wife was watching TMZ and I saw this" or "my gf was watching TMZ when I walked in the room to turn on manswers and I saw...."

TDS... You are C:
Sorry bro

always good to rehash our childhoods.. Isn't it?

btw... Just out of curiosity.. am I the only one? I wonder if this was an indiana thing?

GC - I am the youngest of 5 kids and wore my older Bros handmedowns for YEARS - My parents had 3 (my other Bro, RIP were younger than the older 3) kids in HS at the same time and then 3 kids in college at the same time - It was just how it was - Other kids rocked Nikes and I had Keds that my Bros outgrew - Looking back now, it is what has made me work like I do to get the things I want in life

We did not have much but I had a BLAST growing up and my folks made a buck go a LOOOOOONG way for us - Hence the reason I take care of my mom now the way I do - Ya gotta ya know?

I see your point but do not stoop to his level - The world is round and it will catch up to him - Just hope you are there when it does so you can laugh on the inside and pretend to care on the outside

While I will do my best to provide better for my kid(s?) than I had...
It's that kind of thing that builds character.. Either makes it or breaks it.. but without hardship kids often grow up hollow.

It's not like my parents didn't try... Obviously life happened.. Married young, kids young and divorced in a messy divorce early.. All that makes it hard to keep your kids rockin out the nikes

It was also a different time... Parents didn't run themselves into 5x their annual salaries worth of debt to make sure their kids were in the latest styles back then...

Sorry about your bro bug. That sucks. I really don't have anything to say other than.. Sorry.

Last thing though so as not to end it on a down note...
It was a different time.. We might not have had all the wizbang awesome toys they have today.. but what we didn't have was the current nanny state

RIding in pickup truck beds.. standing between our parents on the bench seat.. laying in hatchbacks on our backs holding the hatch up with our feet.. what was a car seat? riding on the tank of motorcycles at 4 or 5.. throwing rocks and swimming in who knew what...

we should all be dead.. at least according to what the standard is now

Great Post Greg and thx for the thoughts on my Bro - Tony passed young and my memories of him are sparse to say the least - I still have one other Bro and two sisters - Heart conditions run ramped in my family and are what took him and my Dad - Pops was 64 when he checked out - Another reason I live my life the way I do - it is a cliche but true also, you never know when it is your time - I have witnessed this TOO many times

I dig what you say about the bench seats and gas tanks on the bike - Spot on to what I grew up with

so how is watching 20 hours of tv related to shopping at Kmart? first i was watching the simpsons after that seinfeld. Then they show a commercial of a chick falling of a motorcycle, so i decided to watch the show.
